Definition and Usage
setHours() sets the hour of a date.
setHours() can also set minutes, seconds and milliseconds.
Example 3
Set the time to 48 hours ago:
const d = new Date();
d.setHours(d.getHours() - 48);

setHours() is an ECMAScript1 (ES1) feature.
ES1 (JavaScript 1997) is fully supported in all browsers:

Syntax
Date.setHours(hour, min, sec, millisec)
Parameters
| hour | Required. The Hours.
0 to 23, but other values are allowed:

0 to 59, but other values are allowed:

0 to 59, but other values are allowed:
